At StairCrafters Inc., we understand the importance of preserving the earth’s environment. That’s why we encourage the use of sustainable and reclaimed wood products for our staircase construction whenever possible.
We took the lumber from this 1930’s tobacco barn and created this beautiful wormy chestnut circular staircase.
Reclaimed heart pine was used to produce the treads and handrails on this amazing elliptical staircase.
Bascom Visul Arts center
Reclaimed Pine barnboard was used in the construction of the treads,risers and skirtboards at the Bascom Visual Arts center in Highlands, NC. The balustrade was constructed using glass panels and aluminum handrails.
